Thursday Cafe

On Thursdays the Church is buzzing with people coming in for refreshments during the busy weekly Fakenham Market. Following a Holy Communion service at 9.30am a wide range of refreshments are served in the Trinity Room and along the North aisle within the Church from 10.00am – 12.45pm. Most of the voluntary staff have undergone Food Hygiene Courses and the kitchen has a 5* environmental health rating.

Refreshments include tea, coffee and soft drinks, cakes, scones, filled rolls as well as home made soup, and all are very reasonably priced. We love to welcome everyone in for a coffee or just a chat or a look round the stall and books. The stalls sell a wide variety of clean, good quality items, donated by many different people (as are the books). The contents of the stalls change almost weekly so you never know what you might find – a great reason for regularly checking what is available.

The Church has toilet facilities, including a toilet for the disabled and also a baby changing unit. There is as a ramped entrance to the church suitable for the disabled. Dogs are welcome in Church, but are not allowed in the Trinity Room.

All of the money raised from the refreshments and stalls goes towards the cost of running the church.
