We are open daily for personal prayer and as a quiet space for anybody to sit and think. All are welcome.
Our 1st and 4th Sundays are Evening Prayer at 6pm
2nd Sunday is Holy Communion at 11am
3rd Sunday is a joint service at Fakenham at 10am.
We were pleased in April to offer hospitality on Good Friday to pilgrims from Oxford and Essex on their way to Walsingham. In May, we contributed to the Coronation celebrations by offering prayers for the King and Queen at Evensong on Sunday 7 May. Our village, together with the rest of the civil parish, which includes Barney and Croxton, held a celebratory tea on Coronation Day itself, Saturday 6 May.
The churchwarden and PCC welcome any suggestions on how to improve and extend the ministry of Christ Church.
Feel free to contact the churchwarden with any inquiry or suggestion.

Christ Church is situated in a working, rural and agricultural setting five miles east of Fakenham, south of the A148. Since recent extensive renovation of the church building, the congregation seeks to serve the local community in as many ways as possible. All are invited to attend not only the regular services but also the extensive range of concerts and other cultural activities which are mounted throughout the year. We welcome the chance to work with our colleagues at Fakenham and strengthening our ties in furthering the work of God’s church in North Norfolk.
Rural communities rely on ever diminishing facilities. So often the shop, the pub and the post office have closed. This is the case in Fulmodeston. Some residents do not drive and the bus routes are not plentiful. In this environment a church and its worshippers can provide a village with a great deal that money cannot buy. At the heart of Fulmodeston is the church, literally at the crossroads. During the pandemic, the church in association with the Parish Council, provided volunteers to collect prescriptions and shop for those who have been shielding. The church porch is a collecting point for the Mid Norfolk Food Bank.
The current Parochial Church Council is committed to putting the church at the centre of the Parish, not only in our worship but by reaching out to the community in as many thoughtful, enterprising and collaborative ways as possible. We welcome your views on how we can further serve the community.
