Baptisms and Thanksgivings

Baptism marks the beginning of a journey with God which continues all of our lives.  It is a sacramental initiation into membership of the Church, the Body of Christ.  For everyone it is a joyful moment.  Baptism can occur at any age. Traditionally, babies have been brought to baptism by their parents.  In the last century, family units have often waited to allow the young person to make the decision to mark their own entrance into the Church.  Whatever age you are baptised, you are precious to God because God wants the best for you.   For a Baptism, fill out the application form below.

To mark the birth or adoption of a child you might choose a service of Thanksgiving instead.  This gives you the opportunity to give thanks and to pray for family life.  If you are interested in exploring the Christian faith, or finding out about what service might be best for you, get in touch with the Rector for a chat.   You can fill out the General Enquiry form, or call us on 01328 862268.
