There will be an exhibition of quilting in church from Thursday 10th to Saturday 12th October (10 am – 4 pm). This exhibition features a range of beautiful handmade quilts – some historic quilts made by several generations of one family in America and others that are contemporary. Please do come along and see this wonderful exhibition brought to us by Project Linus which provides quilts for babies and children who are very ill and in Norfolk & Norwich Children’s Hospital or the Neo-Natal Unit.
On Saturday 12th October at 11.00 am there will be a talk by Helen Seaford a leading quilter from Dorset whose quilts have been sent around the world and donated to charities including Quilts for Valour and the London 2012 Olympics.
During the exhibition, harp and flute music will be heard at various times plus at 1 pm on Thursday 10th there will be a performance by Fakenham Ukes.
