Fakenham Air Cadets
2534 Squadron Air Training Corp
Being part of the Air Cadets is one of the most adventurous, thrilling and rewarding pursuits young people can do! That isn’t just the experts view, it is the cadets as well. Fakenham Air Cadets (2534 Squadron Air Training Corp), meets on a Monday and Wednesday evening at their premises in the Fakenham College Grounds.
From the moment they join young males and females (from the age of 13), are offered a
considerable variety of activities they can participate in, including flying, gliding, adventure training and camping, marksmanship, sports, radio training and considerable social activities including local bowling, ice skating and rock climbing.
As well as encouraging the spirit of adventure, Fakenham Air Cadets is committed to passing on skills and experiences that will be of real use in future years such as First Aid Training (with recognised awards), academic achievements (BTECH awards) and vocational work opportunities.

Apart from a small monthly subscription entry to Air Cadets is free, a uniform is provided and there is a positive emphasis to include everyone regardless of previous experience or ability. There really isn’t an excuse for not checking out the Air Cadets!
