The facility is provided free to us by Dona Donations, a Christian, London-based specialist technology consultancy working in partnership with churches and charities. Dona gives 5% of all it’s profits to church charities, and takes it’s name from the Latin ‘dona’, meaning “gifts”.
This is a secure donations portal: note the ‘s’ in the https at the start of the web address, and the padlock symbol that shows in your browser just to the left of the web address, both of which are industry standard denotations of the security of the portal. The funds go via the payment service SumUp straight into the church’s bank account (subject to a minimal deduction for processing).
At a time when many of our normal sources of income – including Thursday morning coffee shop income, book sales, Beacon advertising, and so on – have been reduced to zero as a result of the coronavirus epidemic, we felt it would be useful for this means of contributing to our work to be made available.
To donate, please just click on the button above and you will be taken to our donations portal to follow a simple step by step process.
We hope that you find this useful. If you have any questions please contact Keith Osborn – Churchwarden/Finance Team, by phone or email (07887 877650 or firstname.lastname@example.org)
