The Church is open each day from 10.00am – 4.00pm (3.00pm in the winter) and has a good range of new and second-hand books for sale. The books range in size and subject and include a good range of books about the Christian faith for all age groups.
On Thursdays the Church is buzzing with people coming in for refreshments during the busy Fakenham Market. Up to 100 people can stay for refreshments. Following a Holy Communion service at 9.30am refreshments are served in the Trinity Room and North aisle within the Church from 10.00am – 12.45pm.
Refreshments include tea, coffee and soft drinks, cakes, scones, filled rolls as well as home made soup, all are very reasonably priced. The Church prides itself on its welcome and the quality of the refreshments served. Most of the voluntary staff have undergone Food Hygiene Courses and the kitchen has been praised by the local Environment Officer with a 5* rating. The Bric a brac stalls sell a wide variety of clean, good quality things, generally donated by many different people (as are the books). The contents of the stalls change almost weekly so you never know what you might find – a good reason for regularly checking what is available. The money raised from the refreshments and stalls goes to the church.
There is a Farmers’ Market every fourth Saturday in the month and on this day there is a Makers Market in the church from 10.00am – 2.00pm. Several times in the year we have Book and Jigsaw Fayres; and during these occasions refreshments are also served in the church. The Church has toilet facilities, including a toilet for the disabled and also a baby changing unit. There is as a ramped entrance to the church suitable for the disabled. Dogs are welcome in Church, but are not allowed in the Trinity Room.
