Contribute to Our Commitment of Growth
Every week it costs approximately £2,000 to maintain the building, the organ and the church clock; heat, light and insure the Church; pay the clergy, and provide a Parish Office.
If you would like to support the Church financially there are various ways of helping:
The weekly collection
Many people give when they come to Church. This is an important part of income. Don’t forget to use the yellow gift aid envelopes on the Church pews if you are a tax payer. We receive back the tax you pay on what you give.
The weekly envelope scheme
This is a very simple way of helping the Church. You receive 52 envelopes in a box and bring one envelope with your donation to Church when you come. You can also Gift Aid these gifts if you are a tax payer
Increasingly people are helping the Church by setting up a standing order from their bank. Donating monthly quarterly or annually. For more information on how to support via standing order, contact us today.
Every month there are 4 prize winners for this draw. To become a member it costs £20 per year and the profit from this draw helps the Church.
If you are tax payer you can gift aid your donation (except for the 200 Club.) Last year over £7,000 was received from the Inland Revenue as a result of Gift Aid. If you want a gift aid envelope, or any advice contact the Church Treasurer Frank Schofield 01328 878216.
One of the most valuable ways of helping the Church is to leave a bequest in your Will to the Church. One of our local solicitors will advise you. Bequests are usually made to Fakenham Parish Church Fabric Fund which enables the Church to continue the important work of restoring the building.
One of the most valuable ways of helping the Church is actually giving up time to help the Church, support fund raising events, helping on a stall or with refreshments or provide items for Fayres.
Whatever way you help the Church – we value your support and prayers
