During the coming weeks, the “I am” sayings of Jesus will be featured in many of the gospel readings at our Thursday and Sunday communion services. These sayings are a characteristic of St John’s account and will form the basis for our reflections during this period.
The dates and reflections are listed below and we do very much hope you will be able to join us for one or more of these services. On Thursdays, Holy Communion is at 9.30am in the Lady Chapel and lasts just 30 minutes. The liturgy is simplified and the reflections are succinct and fun. A majority of people arrive a few minutes early to be quiet before we begin. Anyone can come; you don’t need to receive the sacrament. On Sundays there is a traditional Communion service at 8am without singing. At 10.30am there is a modern language Communion which includes plenty of singing. The reflection or talk will usually be the same at either service.
